Have you always wondered what it takes to safely send priceless works of art around the globe? Jeffrey Ludwig-Dicus, LUAG’s Head Preparator and Exhibition Designer, and Rachel Fugate, Collections Manager/Registrar, will show you how it’s done!

This hands-on activity is a favorite of Lehigh museum studies students! See the packing techniques used by LUAG to ensure that works of art from the permanent collection make it safely to destinations around the globe. After a demonstration with Jeffrey and Rachel using real shipping crates and storage materials you'll get to try your hand at packing your own mini-work of "art"!
