Paul Walsh holds his Masters in English Literature and is in his final year as a doctoral student in the field of education. His doctoral focus is on antiracist education and teacher identity, and his dissertation in progress is titled Writing through Whiteness: Utilizing Personal Narratives to Strengthen the Racial Competency of White Teachers.
Paul has served as a resident poet for an online literary arts magazine and is also the author of the 2019 novel, Lemonade. The publication of Simeon Bleeker’s Magical Sneakers, his most recent book, marks Paul’s authorial debut as a writer of children’s books.
Paul’s reading will be followed by readings from Lehigh University students.
