Join us for an intergenteraional workshop inspired by the exhibition Really Free: The Radical Art of Nellie Mae Rowe.
Nellie Mae Rowe’s dollmaking began as a child when she created dolls for the amusement of herself and her siblings. Using her dolls as inspiration, participants will make clothespin dolls reflecting their unique identity. We will use fabric scraps, found objects, sheep’s wool, string and bits of old jewelry to create small felt dolls for our and others’ amusement!
Registration is encouraged but not required.
