Student-Led Series: Depicting Women

Come walk through the lower gallery with Makena Smith '25 as she dives into how women are depicted in today's art world. You will look at pieces like Regeneration by Jessica Bastidas, 2021, while you compare how women today are painting women versus how men have been painting women.
Makena Smith is a Senior at Lehigh University. She majors in Art History. Next year, she will attend the University of Essex in England to pursue her master's in Museum Curating.
