Internships:

LUAG seeks dynamic individuals to join our team and to assist with the development and delivery of exhibitions, public programs and educational resources. Dates and times of the internship are flexible. Hours will range from 6-10 hours per week. Candidates do not need to possess extensive background or knowledge in art, but a love of art and culture is a plus.

Internships are offered throughout the academic year and over the summer in each department of the Art Galleries— Marketing/Communications, Curatorial, Preparation, Education, and Visitor Services—and occasionally for special projects. Please contact us for availability and more information.

Possible positions include:

Curatorial: Exhibition Prep and art historical research

Education and Interpretation: Community outreach, public programming, art historical research/interpretation, and art education

Collection Management: Preservation, art handling, and collections management

Development: Fundraising, grant writing, membership management, and visitor services

Marketing: Communication strategy and implementation, public relations, and social media

 

Summer 2021 Internships:

Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply for an eight to ten week summer internship program. The 2021 summer internship program will run from May to August. Dates and times of internship are flexible. Undergraduate students majoring in any discipline at any four-year college or university, and graduate students who have completed their first year in an M.A. or Ph.D. program in art history, archaeology, or a related field, are eligible to apply. Lehigh University students are given priority.

Review of resumes begins April 15th and will continue until the end of April.
