Making Space is a workshop that will help attendees to foster a greater consciousness around supporting their creative spirit and expanding their inner space for inspiration and motivation to flow. This workshop will help participants target areas in which they are stifling their natural creative inclinations through a provided workbook, group discussion, and creative activity.

Lauren Beauchner is a figurative painter who graduated from Kutztown University and the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. She began taking portrait commissions in 2015 and has been able to pursue her art career full time by balancing commission work, craft shows, an online shop, and teaching workshops. Lauren works on her large scale figurative portraits & more in her home studio in Bangor, PA. For more information on Lauren’s work and for any commission requests, please visit: www.laurenbeauchner.com.

Connect & Create workshops offer a brief exploration and creative conversation around a work of art from the LUAG collection, followed by a hands-on activity and/or creative response led by a local teaching artist.
