Mask Off: An Exploration of of the Importance of Disguised Identity in Black Art

with LUAG Museum Educator, Sam Ginn '24

This tour is designed for people unfamiliar with contemporary black art. It is intended to blend mainstream art–hip hop and rap–with fine art. What is fine art in the contemporary sense? Does a mask need to be a physical object?

RSVP in advance here.

Sam Ginn '24 is a sophomore at Lehigh. He is a History Major, with a Studio Architecture Minor, and is planning to pursue a second major in International Relations. Sam is a member of the Eckardt Scholars program and is interested in art and design. In his free time, Sam enjoys the outdoors, drawing, and reading.
