NeuroSalon is an ongoing student art series based upon the research of Dr. Julie Miwa into neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to change and grow. Through abstraction and imagery, this exhibition explores the ease with which we learn in youth, the reduction of neuroplasticity in adolescence, and how creative activities and the feeling of flow can help improve one’s brain health. NeuroSalon invites members of our community to discover their own brain’s potential for lifelong learning and growth.
