On February 12, a family embroidery workshop was hosted at the Lehigh University Art Gallery.
It was inspired by one of the many works of the artist Chiffon Thomas titled, “A mother who had no mother." Family members took everyday fabrics and created a simple embroidered family story of their own.
Chiffon Thomas's works are also part of the current exhibition "Young, Gifted and Black" at the gallery.
