Edie graduated from Lehigh in 1991 with a double major in English and Social Relations. She was a founding member of Lehigh’s crew team, and a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. After graduating from Lehigh, she started her career working in marketing research at The New Yorker magazine while earning an MBA in marketing as a part-time student at Fordham University. She also worked for a number of technology start-ups, as well as several luxury brands including the Richemont brands and Asprey.
In 2005 she relocated to London where she worked as the European Ad Director for Louise Blouin Media. She went on to work for several art media companies including Art Asia Pacific Magazine, the Economist’s Intelligent Life, and helped found Art World magazine. After moving back to New York in 2014, Edie worked as the US business development consultant for Vastari, an art technology company based in London. She currently consults with art tech companies including RiskScreen, an anti-money laundering platform, and Artbanx collection management system.
Edie joined SCOPE Art Show in 2022 as the Director of Exhibitor Relations. She works with international galleries who represent emerging contemporary artists.
In 2018 she helped found Art Innovators Alliance, a collaborative group of art tech companies, and became a chair of the membership committee of ArtTable. In her free time she can be found playing badminton and skiing in the winter, sailing in the summer, traveling, and walking her rescue dog in Madison Square Park.
