LUAG Community Workshop: Painting with Fiber and Thread with Rebecca Kelly

October 18, 2025 11:00AM to 12:30PM
LUAG Main & Lower Galleries

Join teaching artist Rebecca Kelly for a hands-on workshop exploring the art of fiber needle felting and embroidery. Participants will learn how to “paint” with fiber and thread, creating textured designs that blend color, pattern, and personal expression.

This workshop is open to all ages and abilities. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No prior experience is necessary—all materials will be provided.

Limited to 20 participants. Please register in advance to help us plan for your visit and ensure we have enough materials for everyone! All ages are welcome. Kids younger than 5 years old may need help from their family members with the activity.
