POSTPONED: Orange is the New Green; Autumnal Outdoor Sculpture Tour with the Wandering Bee

November 11, 2025 5:00PM
Meet at LUAG Main Gallery (end at The Beehive Temple)
Due to the weather this event has been postponed. New date coming soon.

Join LUAG Museum Educator Ryan Javier '26 on a tour of the outdoor sculptures on a beautiful autumn night. Take a closer look at the sculptures you pass on your way to classes and engage in a thoughtful conversation on interpretation and symbolism. Drinks will be provided to keep you warm and toasty throughout the tour, but dress appropriately, too! This is also your last chance to catch the Wandering Bee exhibit before it flies off of Asa Packer Campus. Register here for free so we know you’re coming!

This tour will meet at Lehigh University Art Galleries (inside Zoellner Arts Center) and end at The Beehive Temple along Memorial Walkway in the center of campus. Click here for the walking route and directions.

The Wandering Bee is a mobile installation developed by Christina Chi Zhang, funded by the Future Makers Grant in partnership with students from the Art, Architecture, and Design Department and Small Cities Lab at Lehigh University. This Wandering Bee or “memory pollinator” is designed to bring life to gatherings and spaces by offering a visual art area where students and faculty can sit, write, and create new memories. For more information, click here or contact Christina Chi Zhang at chz924@lehigh.edu.

If you have questions, concerns, or any accessibility needs, please email Elise at ejs421@lehigh.edu or call 610-758-6882.

Offered in partnership with the Lehigh Outing Club. The Outing Club fosters the development of social connection and leadership skills within Lehigh’s community by providing inclusive and financially accessible opportunities for wilderness engagement.

Ryan Javier '26 is a senior in the IDEAS program alongside a global studies dual major. He is also a part of organizations on campus, such as the Asian Cultural Society, the Lehigh Tea Club, LUSSI, Posse, and now LUAG! When he's not studying, he's probably biking, hiking, traveling the world, or playing his guitar. Originally from San Francisco, CA, Ryan has been to 27 states and counting. In a past life (High school), Ryan was a passionate filmmaker, having films shown at local film festivals. He is particularly passionate about artivism (Art as activism).
