Mend & Make with LUAG at The Bethlehem Farmers' Market



Join LUAG @ The Bethlehem Farmers' Market to mend your favorite, well-loved clothes with needle, thread, and fabric. Teaching Artist Rebecca Kelly will teach basic hand-stitching and embroidery techniques you can use to repair, mend, or enhance your clothing.
A small selection of clothing items for mending and stitching will be available, courtesy of the Lehigh Swap Shop.
The Bethlehem Farmers' Market is a local, producer-only farmers' market located in Farrington Square at Lehigh University. The market offers fresh produce, lunch items, baked goods, natural goods, and more to residents of Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley. The market is open Thursdays from April 25 to November 15, 11 am-3 pm.
Rebecca Kelly is a storyteller, visual artist, and curator. Rebecca is a teaching artist at Lehigh University Art Galleries, Young Audiences of NJ and PA, and The Banana Factory in Bethlehem, PA. Rebecca is on the roster of the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Ms. Kelly is a gifted visual artist who specializes in Book and Textile Arts. Her work has been exhibited at The Philadelphia Museum of Art Library, Phila, PA, South Haven Arts Center, South Haven, MI, The Studio Exhibit at Evanston Art Center, Evanston, IL, The Phillips Mill Art Association Annual Juried Show, Hunterdon Art Museum Members Show and St. Ann’s Warehouse in Brooklyn. Rebecca currently has work on display as part of the exhibition Here and Now: 100 Years of LUAG, 100 Local Artists on view in the LUAG Main Galleries inside of Zoellner Arts Center.
