This event has been postponed. New date and time to be determined.
Long before technology and social media, artists used graphic elements, bold colors, and strong statements to stir up community activism, build awareness of injustice, and create change. Join us for a workshop with artist and professor Deirdre Murphy that explores the history of visual activism in the 20th century, as seen through the photographs in the exhibition Doing Democracy: Photography from the George Stephanopoulos Collection, and leads us through a series of hands-on low-tech printmaking tutorials for creating our own activism posters.
