LUAG @ Home: Connection and Community During COVID-19

April 13, 2020 9:02AM

All of us at LUAG hope you are staying physically and mentally healthy in this unprecedented moment caused by the pandemic. During this time, it is more important than ever that we remember we are all in this together. Along with you, we are monitoring current events day by day as we continue our work and daily lives in this radically changed environment.

Our priority is the safety of our staff and visitors, which means we have physically closed our doors until further notice. Although onsite exhibitions and galleries are currently closed, we hope that you will stay engaged with LUAG @ HOME. We are offering weekly online programs on a wide range of topics, expanding our online resources, and increasing interaction on our social media. Be sure to visit our Events and Learn pages, and follow us @luartgalleries for the latest updates.

This moment is challenging us to rethink how we interact with the world, and we remain more committed than ever to supporting our visitors. After all, fostering a healthy and safe community is central to our mission: to advance critical thinking, cultural understanding, and well-being for campus and community through transformative experiences with art.

We are confident that by working together we will successfully manage through this challenging time. We wish you all wellness and safety.
