As we begin a new semester and enjoy the renewed energy that it brings, I’m delighted to welcome you back to Lehigh University Art Galleries. Our calendar is brimming with exciting exhibitions and events that celebrate art, culture, and connection.
This spring, come explore the Art, Architecture and Design Faculty Exhibition in our Main Gallery, and witness the creative practice of fourteen faculty members in this growing department. Be sure to join us for the public opening reception on Tuesday, February 4, 5:30-7:30pm.
Spend a day on campus at the first Interdisciplinary Research in the Arts Symposium on Friday, March 21, hosted with the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, and discover how Lehigh faculty across many disciplines and departments conduct research in the arts.
And don’t forget our dynamic ongoing programming for all, including monthly community and family days, tours and workshops – always offered completely free of charge. Facilitated by teaching artists, educators, and trained student museum educators, these programs foster curiosity and creativity. Come learn about something new – and meet someone new, as well!
Our museum is a space where ideas and inspiration thrive. Whether you’re a student seeking new perspectives, a faculty member expanding your pedagogy, or a community member engaged in creative exploration, we look forward to welcoming you to LUAG.
See you in the galleries,
William B. Crow, Ph.D.
