Artist Series #1: How to Photograph Your Artwork with Quintin Fernandez

Every artist has art, right? But what's next after that? How do we promote ourselves? How do I get involved with my community? Do I need to promote my artwork on social media as an artist? Are there local art shows? All of these questions and more will be answered on October 28th! Join photographer Quintin Fernandez for an artist workshop revolving around how to shoot your artwork, get started with self-promotion, and get involved with the local artist community.. Everyone is welcome – you just need your phone!
A note from your teaching artist, Quintin:
We will go over everything from phone settings, composition, and intention when it comes to shooting your artwork. But we'll also talk about how to utilize those photos on social media to get yourself involved in the community and get your artwork seen. You'll just need to bring a finished piece of art and your phone!
Space is limited! Please register in advance here.

More about Quintin Fernandez
Hi! My name's Quintin. I am a photographer born and raised in the Lehigh Valley. If I had to put myself in a box, I'd say that I am a "documentary" style photographer. I got my love of photography from my dad, who left a digital point-and-shoot on the kitchen counter and took it everywhere with us. Nowadays, I would say the best way to describe my work is "Capturing Life in Motion".
My favorite thing to capture is certainly people, but I also enjoy landscapes and architecture. I taught myself photography as a teenager, taking my camera on tour with my bands. Since then, I've been able to take my work all across the United States from Bethlehem to Los Angeles – and even across the pond to Poland.
