LUAG invites you to celebrate the launch of our 100th-anniversary catalog, Creativity and Connection: Lehigh University Art Galleries at 100 

Opening with a first-ever history of the museum by independent scholar Keidra Daniels Navaroli, Creativity and Connection (Hirmer/University of Chicago Press) pairs 100 works from LUAG’s collection with reflective essays by students, faculty, staff, artists, and community members. Weaving together history with fresh perspectives, the book reflects on the depth and evolving narrative of LUAG’s permanent collection – now spanning over 20,000 objects – and brings to life iconic paintings, prints, photographs, sculptures, and material culture collected over the past century.

The evening’s central program features a series of live readings by a selection of the publication’s contributors, offering attendees an intimate dialogue between text and visual material and bringing to life iconic works collected over the past century.

Guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments, converse with contributing writers, and receive a complimentary copy of the centenary publication.
