All meetings are held on Friday afternoons from 1:00 - 2:00 PM in the LUAG Lab and Reading Room inside Zoellner Arts Center unless otherwise noted.
Interested in museum education? Whether you're a student, emerging educator, or someone looking to build confidence in public speaking and tour facilitation, this program is for you! This training series offers an opportunity to learn about teaching in a museum setting and connect with LUAG's education team. Themes and lessons vary each week, and all are welcome to attend. Afterwards, join LUAG student museum educators for a short discussion and learning exercise.
October 9 - Incorporating Hands-On Activities into Museum Teaching
Join LUAG teaching artist, Khalid Taylor, for a workshop on incorporating activities into your gallery tours and lesson plans. Following the workshop, participants will have time to discuss their tour plans with the group, receive feedback, and share ideas.
