Salon Performance Night at LUAG: Music Technology and Production

Join LUAG and The Music Department in a salon-style performance featuring classical electronic and electro-acoustic music in surround sound format. All new music based on artworks featured in the Here and Now: 100 years of LUAG, 100 Local Artists exhibition. Music production students from MUS 142 Music Technology and Production, taught by Professor Josh Aguiar, have created a variety of pieces, including jazz-influenced meditations, soundscapes, musique concrète, and more.
This event welcomes anyone interested in unique sonic interpretations of local art! Walk around and enjoy the original gallery exhibit accompanied by new music in the same space, and hear this unique blend of students connect with the greater community.
Free and open to the public; no registration required.
