Please join us to celebrate the life and legacy of Ricardo Viera, an artist, curator, scholar, and educator who led Lehigh University Art Galleries (LUAG) for 44 years and who grew the university’s holdings to a world-class collection of more than 15,000 works of art. Viera served as LUAG's director and chief curator beginning in 1974. Under his leadership, a visual laboratory and teaching collection program as well as a nationally recognized collection of Latino and Latin American photography and video were established.
We also invite the community to upload testimonials, images and videos which will be included in a memorial page.
