Create & Connect: Community Queer Art with the Pride Center

April 4, 2023 4:30PM to 6:30PM
LUAG LOWER GALLERY

An event where students can take a break and gather together to make art. Need stress relief? Want to focus on one activity? Come with your friends or make new ones! You can either make your own piece or be guided by Pride Center student staff worker Ivery Marquez.

Ivery Marquez (she/they) is a senior at Lehigh University and an artist ever since she was 7 years old. She has experience working as an intern at After School Matters Advanced Drawing and Painting Program in Downtown Chicago. Her passion is to provide safe spaces for students to relieve stress or focus on a project through art, especially for queer students.

LUAG Connect & Create workshops offer a brief exploration and creative conversation around a work of art from the LUAG collection, followed by a hands-on activity and/or creative response led by a local teaching artist or student educator.

This workshop is offered in partnership with the Pride Center.
