Doing Democracy: Outdoor Reception

In partnership with the SouthSide Art District’s First Friday celebration, join us for a community celebration of democracy in all its forms. In addition to the exhibition of original photographs on display in the LUAG Main Galleries, view reproductions of key works along the South Bethlehem Greenway, listen to the audio guide, meet community members and representatives, register to vote, and create a customized political poster or button. The first 100 individuals will be eligible to win free LUAG Swag. There will be individually packaged drinks and snacks available free of charge. Community partners include the SouthSide Arts District, Made by Lino, Lehigh University Community Service Office, the Lehigh University Student Politcal Action Coalition, Hawk the Vote and more.*

Drop by anytime between 5-6:30 pm and stop by the check-in table near New Street and the Greenway (between 3rd & 4th Streets) to check in and grab your tote bag.

To help everyone enjoy this event, please closely follow the following safety protocols:

• Socially distance from others at least 6 feet apart at all times whenever possible.
• Wear a cloth face-covering in any circumstance when interacting with others. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is requiring the use of cloth face coverings when in public.
• Wash your hands frequently and whenever in contact with high touch surfaces.
• Do not come to this event if you feel unwell and have COVID-like symptoms such as cough and high fever. Also, please stay at home if you have been in contact with someone who is diagnosed with COVID within the past 14 days.
