Student Led Tour | Messages & Self-Expression in Lucy Gans: Reading Between the Lines

Join LUAG Museum Educators Cassidy and Y on a tour through Lucy Gans: Reading Between the Lines. Lucy Gans, Artist and Lehigh Professor of Art and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, work explores themes of trauma, violence, and family through the use of self-portraiture and text. This tour is intended to lead the viewer through a brief overview of Gans’ decades-long career.
Y Lam '24 is a Senior at Lehigh University, who is currently studying Art and Psychology and minoring in Asian studies. She is a part of the LUAG Museum Education team and the Elementary Education 4+1 Accelerated Master’s Program. In her free time, Y loves journaling, sketching, and cooking.
Cassidy Rubio '24 is a Senior at Lehigh, studying English with minors in Mass Communications & Latin American Studies. Outside of her work as a Museum Education Intern for LUAG, she enjoys reading and creating art.
