All meetings are held on Friday afternoons from 1:00 - 2:00 PM in the LUAG Lab and Reading Room inside Zoellner Arts Center unless otherwise noted.
Interested in museum education? Whether you're a student, emerging educator, or someone looking to build confidence in public speaking and tour facilitation, this program is for you! This training series offers an opportunity to learn about teaching in a museum setting and connect with LUAG's education team. Themes and lessons vary each week, and all are welcome to attend. Afterwards, join LUAG student museum educators for a short discussion and learning exercise.
September 25 - Lesson Planning and Researching
LUAG Museum Educators will review outlines and templates for writing tours and lesson plans and have time to review all of LUAG’s current exhibitions in the LUAG Main Galleries and around Lehigh’s campus.
Hear from Lehigh University Libraries staff about what resources are available for you as you research and write your own tours and lesson plans. Spend time brainstorming for your tour and sharing ideas with fellow educators.
Please contact Elise at ejs421@lehigh.edu to receive the calendar invitation to register and for accessibility needs or accommodations in advance.
