Lehigh University Art Galleries is a teaching museum. With a permanent collection of over 19,000 works of art spanning many cultures and eras, the mission of the museum is to advance critical thinking, cultural understanding and well-being for the campus and greater community through transformative experiences with art. A rotating selection of works is on view, including George Bellows, Gustave Courbet, Jack Whitten, Marsden Hartley, and Käthe Kollwitz among others.
