In celebration of April as Poetry Month, Lehigh University Art Galleries (LUAG) and the Lehigh University Libraries partnered to offer an interactive exploration of how art can inspire reflections on the places and spaces where we live. During this session, we worked together to discuss ways of looking at art and using our poetic imaginations to express what we see. Using writing prompts alongside works from the Lehigh Art Galleries, we explored how a work of art can spark new ideas, emotions, and creative discovery about our homes, neighborhoods, and communities.

This event was part of our Connect & Create Workshop which offer a brief exploration and creative conversation around a work of art from the LUAG Collection, followed by a hands-on activity and creative response. This program was open to all ages. No artistic experience was necessary.
