Learn how to design your own paper story quilt inspired by the design elements of artist Faith Ringgold. We will view works by the artist and explore how she captures stories from her life and community. Teaching artist Monica Salazar will then lead us through a hands-on artmaking activity to make our own paper story quilts using materials found at home. This workshop is offered in conjunction with LUAG's Exhibition EQUILIBRAR: Strength in Community.
