Connect & Create: This Land: Many Stories, Many Landscapes

December 1, 2026 5:30PM to 7:00PM
LUAG Lower Gallery, Zoellner Arts Center

with Larissa Noto of The Lovely Little Lotus

As the sun sets on the fall, let's look forward to what winter offers. This season provides a natural invitation to slow down, nourish, and reflect. Join Larissa Noto of The Lovely Little Lotus for a creative, mindful experience inspired by the rhythms and textures of the winter season.

Through mindful breathing, gentle movement, soothing winter soundscape, and looking closely at art, we’ll explore the depth that may be underneath the landscapes around us and within our own lives. When we slow down and soften, we can create space for so much more. Participants will be invited to reflect on how best to honor winter's rhythms more fully; Larissa will be providing participants with a journal to help support the natural rhythm of the season with guided prompts to inspire creativity and reflection during this season.

Finally, we’ll bring these reflections into a hands-on artmaking experience, creating a mixed-media “Winter Landscape” inspired by the colors, textures, and transitions of winter,  as well as the artworks on view in the This Land and ViewFinder exhibitions on view at LUAG.

No prior art or mindfulness experience is necessary. Come as you are, take a breath, and make space to connect with yourself, others, and the changing season.

Space is limited to 12 participants. Advance registration is encouraged.

If you require assistance filling out this form, prefer to share your registration information via email or phone, or have questions, concerns, or any accessibility needs, please email Elise at ejs421@lehigh.edu or call 610-758-6882.
