LUAG Museum Educator Training

September 18, 2026 1:00PM to 2:00PM
LUAG LAB and Reading Room, Zoellner Arts Center

All meetings are held on Friday afternoons from 1:00 - 2:00 PM in the LUAG Lab and Reading Room inside Zoellner Arts Center unless otherwise noted.

Interested in museum education? Whether you're a student, emerging educator, or someone looking to build confidence in public speaking and tour facilitation, this program is for you! This training series offers an opportunity to learn about teaching in a museum setting and connect with LUAG's education team. Themes and lessons vary each week, and all are welcome to attend. Afterwards, join LUAG student museum educators for a short discussion and learning exercise.

September 18 - Intro to Essential Questions and Slow-Looking

Join LUAG Director, William Crow, and Curator of Education, Stacie Brennan, for a crash course on identifying essential questions and slow-looking in the gallery space. Practice writing your own essential questions and enjoy a guided slow-looking activity with LUAG student educators.
